Camp Dread

The “Summer Camp” horror series reigned supreme in the 1980s until the era ended, taking with it the career of its director, Julian Barrett. Now, Barrett is back with plans to revive his blood-soaked saga through a new-age reality-style reboot. With his former leading actress and a diverse group of ten young “contestants,” he revisits the original film site of his notorious slasher series. But when a grisly murder claims one of the campers, the stakes become horrifyingly real. Every participant soon understands that this battle isn’t just for fame—it’s for survival itself, as they realize that summer has ended in the most chilling way.
