Crown and Anchor

When James Downey travels back to Newfoundland for his mother’s funeral, he finds himself confronting the unresolved family issues he thought were long behind him. While he has tried to manage his own inner struggles by becoming a police officer, stemming from an abusive father, his cousin Danny’s traumatic past has led him into a destructive loop of drugs, crime, and violence. James is forced to face his harrowing past, question his true identity, and intervene in Danny’s life before it’s irreversibly damaged.
