Stray Dogs

In “Stray Dogs (2013),” a father and his two children navigate the edges of contemporary Taipei. They journey from the lush outskirts to the city’s rain-soaked streets, capturing a slice of urban survival. While the father earns just a bit of money holding advertisement signs for luxury condos during the day, his children scavenge free food samples from local grocery stores and shopping centers. At night, the trio finds refuge in a deserted building, where a mesmerizing mural captures the father’s mind. On the father’s birthday, their lives intersect with a woman who may be the missing link to unlocking deep-seated emotions from the past. Watch Stray Dogs online.
