The Trotsky

Leon Bronstein is far from your typical high school student in Montreal West. Unlike his classmates, Leon believes he is the reincarnation of Leon Trotsky, the early 20th-century Soviet revolutionary and leader of the Red Army. After initiating a hunger strike at his father’s clothing business, Leon is sent to a public school as a form of reprimand. There, he becomes fiercely dedicated to redefining the concept of a ‘student union,’ intent on fulfilling what he sees as his destiny to alter the course of history.
