Eight and a Half

Guido Anselmi is a filmmaker who reaches a creative deadlock just as his career soars. His doctors advise him to take a break, leading him to a lavish resort, which, unfortunately, becomes a gathering spot for those dependent on him—his producer, crew, actors, wife, mistress, and family—all pressuring him to continue his project. To escape their demands, he immerses himself in nostalgic reveries about the women in his life and dreams of his youth. Watch Eight and a Half (1963) here.
