In the wake of her mother’s passing, Tennie, a 17-year-old, finds her reputation crumbling at school just before the prom. Her father, Robert, who has reestablished his career as an advertising executive, is determined to rebuild their relationship. Defying his therapist’s suggestions, he eagerly attempts to bond with Tennie in his unique way, using Jack, his 19-year-old driver and intern, to learn more about her life. Raised largely by her extended family, Tennie is both academically talented and mature beyond her years, with a touch of rebellion and sarcasm. Upon realizing her father’s intentions, Tennie decides the best way to gain some freedom is to encourage him to find companionship elsewhere. Watch 10E (2019) online here now!
