Racing for Time

Cleveland ‘Stack’ Stackhouse works as a guard at the Texas Correctional Youth Authority, where he observes a pattern of harmful decisions and racial conflicts among young female inmates. Determined to make a change, he gathers a diverse group of African-American, Latina, and Caucasian teens to form an interracial track team inside the facility. This initiative not only helps to bridge racial gaps among the girls but also guides them toward transforming their lives positively. You can watch “Racing for Time (2008)” streaming online here.
