Boys vs. Girls

Crafted and helmed by local talent Mike Stasko, “Boys vs. Girls” draws inspiration from his true-life experiences at a summer camp during the nostalgic 90s. Faced with the closure of numerous camps nationwide, Camp Kitchikewana makes the financially wise yet socially challenging decision to integrate genders, sparking a genuine and impactful clash between boys and girls. The narrative unfolds in the summer of 1990, where Camp Kindlewood undergoes its first-ever transition to a co-ed format in its seventy-year history. Roger, the camp director, played by Colin Mochrie, is determined to save the camp from corporate closure. However, when head counselors Dale (Eric Osborne) and Amber (Rachel Dagenais) experience a tense meeting, a rivalry ensues. This leads to the sides attempting to reclaim their territory and assert control over their beloved summer haven. As the battle escalates, pranks orchestrated by the camp caretaker, Coffee (Kevin McDonald), intensify the competition.
