We Are The Missing

One morning, when Riley (Chantel Little) was expected at school, her mother Angie (Maissa Houri) hears a cellphone ringing in Riley’s room, only to find it abandoned. She answers Riley’s phone to discover it’s Mackenzie (Willow McGregor), Riley’s best friend, calling for the third time. Angie asks if Riley is with Mackenzie, but Mackenzie, it seems, was about to pose the same question. In a state of growing concern, Angie checks the closet, noticing Riley’s shoes are still there. Did Riley slip away in the dead of night or evaporate without a trace?
