High Spirits

In an effort to save his struggling Irish castle-turned-hotel from foreclosure, Peter Plunkett devises a clever plan to attract American tourists by having his staff simulate ghostly activity. However, comedy ensues when a group of unsuspecting American guests arrives, and it turns out that not all of the apparitions are fake. Real ghosts emerge to add a genuine touch of the supernatural to the mix, sending the visitors and staff into a whirlwind of humorous chaos. High Spirits (1988) is available for streaming here.
