The Christmas Heart

For four decades, the close-knit community on Arthur Avenue has celebrated the holiday season by illuminating Christmas luminaries. However, this cherished custom comes to a halt when a local teenager, Matt Norman (played by Ty Wood), faces a life-threatening situation and requires an urgent heart transplant. During this critical time, his parents Ann (Teri Polo) and Mike (Paul Essiembre) remain by his side, hoping for a miracle. Meanwhile, in Detroit, another mother (played by Tess Harper) deals with her own heart-wrenching circumstances. In a heartwarming gesture, the neighbors of Arthur Avenue decide to pay tribute to Matt in the most meaningful way possible. The Christmas Heart (2012) is available for streaming here.
