High Road

High Road (2012), directed by Matt Walsh, a founding member of the Upright Citizens Brigade, presents a cleverly unscripted tale centered on Glenn “Fitz” Fitzgerald, portrayed by James Pumphrey. This young man’s life is a chaotic mix of his band, his girlfriend Monica (Abby Elliott), and his side hustle of drug dealing. After his band disbands, Fitz starts selling drugs from his garage while forming a unique friendship with a neighborhood teen, Jimmy (Dylan O’Brien). As his old band members (Zach Woods, Matt L. Jones, Lizzy Caplan) taste success and a drug deal collapses, Fitz embarks on a wild journey with Jimmy. Amidst a whirlwind of car chases, gunplay, injuries, cheeky cab drivers, and an inquisitive doctor (Horatio Sanz), Fitz must find a way to safety, unaware of the surprise Monica has waiting for him. High Road (2012) provides a thrilling narrative that’s worth watching online. You can stream it for free and enjoy this adventure through platforms like cineby and 123Movies right here.
