Lonesome Jim

After an unsuccessful attempt at carving out a career as a writer in New York City, Jim retreats to his family’s residence in the Midwest to recuperate from his setbacks. His return, however, soon becomes fraught with difficulty as his melancholy extends to his brother, Tim, who makes the reckless decision to crash his car into a tree. In the wake of his brother’s reckless behavior, Jim forms an unexpected bond with Anika, whose grounded, small-town perspective begins to influence him positively. Watch Lonesome Jim (2005).
