Spaced Invaders

A band of extraterrestrial beings from Mars intercepts a radio transmission of Orson Welles’ iconic “War of the Worlds” from Earth. Misinterpreting it as a signal that their Martian forces are launching an attack on Earth, they touch down their malfunctioning spaceship in a remote American town. Coincidentally arriving on Halloween, they are humorously mistaken for costumed children by the townspeople. The amusing narrative unfolds as the Martians strive to convince the people of their seriousness. Spaced Invaders (1990) is a must-watch.
