Overview
In one of President Lincoln’s final acts, he approves the extension of the Union Pacific Railroad through the untamed lands to reach California. However, opportunist Asa Barrows is determined to create chaos for his own financial gain. Jeff Butler, the head troubleshooter, is caught in the middle, combating Barrows’ operative, the gambler Sid Campeau, while also contending with Campeau’s associate, Dick Allen—who happens to be Jeff’s former war comrade and competitor for the affections of engineer’s daughter, Molly Monahan. Will their valor be enough to ensure the railroad’s progress? Watch Union Pacific (1939) free online.
