Wondrous Boccaccio

In the year 1348, the devastating plague ravages Florence, prompting seven women and three men to escape the overwhelming aura of death that looms over the city. Seeking solace in an abandoned villa nestled in the Tuscan hills, the group grapples with moral dilemmas and the practicalities of survival. To pass the time and distract themselves from the grim realities outside, they narrate stories to each other, each tale rich in diversity—ranging from tragic and bizarre to humorous and erotic—all woven together by a central theme of female presence.
