An Eye for an Eye

In the bustling streets of Hong Kong, a sinister figure wearing a fisherman’s hat and a child’s Halloween mask preys on young women. The film closely mirrors the chilling narrative of John Schlesinger’s 1990 work, capturing the gut-wrenching moment when a mother, played by Angie Cheung, overhears her daughter being attacked through her cell phone. This devastating event leads her daughter to commit suicide, leaving Cheung’s character consumed by grief and seeking retribution. Determined to avenge her loss, she undergoes intense training reminiscent of Travis Bickle and transforms herself into a formidable force ready to take down the twisted perpetrator. An Eye for an Eye (2000) offers a powerful exploration of vengeance driven by loss. Stream the gripping tale of An Eye for an Eye (2000) online for free right now.
