The Fear: Resurrection

In this cleverly crafted psychological thriller, the concept of “death-by-fear” takes center stage. Mike invites his friends to his grandparents’ home for a Halloween party where everyone is encouraged to embody their deepest anxieties. Mike is haunted by the fear that he might inherit a violent streak from his father, a serial killer who traumatized him by murdering his mother in front of him and then taking his own life. This fear cripples Mike, making him hesitant to fully commit to his long-time girlfriend, Peg, fearing he might harm her. As the story unfolds, an ancient Native American totem, Morty, comes to life, turning Mike’s friends’ fears into terrible realities. The climax builds when Mike is confronted with his ultimate terror—his own father. Watch The Fear: Resurrection (1999) now. Streaming this suspenseful film is easy to do online.
