Bicycling with Molière

Serge Tanneur, portrayed by Fabrice Luchini, steps away from a flourishing acting career, choosing isolation on the French Atlantic coast. Three years later, TV star Gauthier Valence, played by Lambert Wilson, visits Serge to persuade him to return to the stage in his directorial debut of “The Misanthrope” by Molière. Despite Serge’s initial rejection, he agrees to rehearse one scene, taking five days to decide on his participation. Their journey unfolds into a fascinating clash of wills and unexpected encounters with an aspiring pornstar hotel maid and an Italian divorcée. Watch “Bicycling with Molière (2013)” online today.
