Inside Out

Navigating childhood’s ups and downs can be challenging, especially for Riley, who faces a big change when her family relocates from the Midwest to San Francisco for her father’s new job. Like everyone, Riley is steered by her emotions—Joy, Fear, Anger, Disgust, and Sadness—that reside in the Headquarters of her mind, providing guidance through her daily experiences. In their new San Francisco surroundings, Riley and her emotions face chaos as they attempt to settle into a different environment. While Joy, Riley’s primary and most crucial emotion, strives to maintain a sense of optimism, discord emerges among the emotions as they try to manage a new city, home, and school life.
