Plastic People

Are we evolving into Plastic People? This eye-opening documentary delves into our dependence on plastic and the escalating danger of microplastics to human wellness. Nearly every piece of plastic ever produced gets reduced to “microplastics.” These tiny fragments are present in the air, water, and soil. Alarmingly, scientists are now detecting them inside human bodies: organs, blood, brain tissue, and even the placentas of new mothers. How do these unseen threats affect our health? Ziya Tong, a science journalist and author, adds a personal touch by visiting top scientists, conducting experiments in her home, on her food, and on her body.
