Wait for Me and I Will Not Come

Alek (Gordan Kicic) finds himself in despair after his three-year relationship with Teodora (Milica Mihajlovic) comes to an end. Burdened by apathy and recurrent thoughts of ending his life, he remains unwilling to acknowledge the breakup. Alek frequently indulges in self-pitying dialogues with his friend Bane (Milos Samolov), who advises him against pursuing Teodora. Nonetheless, Alek persistently reaches out to Teodora, not realizing she’s moved on with Nemanja (Branislav Trifunovic). While Teodora is firm and determined with Alek, she becomes vulnerable and compliant around Nemanja. The catch is, Nemanja’s heart is set on Marina (Vanja Ejdus), a younger woman. Yet, Marina finds herself drawn to Alek’s melancholic allure, misinterpreting his desperation as an inherent trait rather than a consequence of his failed romance with Teodora.
