The Magic Box
Overview
Once a distinguished figure, William Freise-Greene is now aged, unwell, and living in obscurity. In his youth, as the dashing William Green, he added his first wife’s surname to his own to make it sound more distinguished for his exceptional work in portrait photography. Besides his talent in photography, he was an inventive mind who became consumed by the quest to pioneer the projection of moving images, an obsession that profoundly impacted the lives closest to him.
