Second Chance

On a typical summer morning at the “Outstanding Pool House,” Shine prepares for school. Despite her glamorous appearance, there’s a touch of sadness about her. Just six months ago, her parents perished in a catastrophic car crash, leaving behind only the pool house. Now, Shine faces the threat of being sent to foster care unless a family member steps in. Feng, her estranged uncle and a former billiards maestro, decides to take responsibility for Shine. Shine is not too pleased with this arrangement because of her unfamiliarity with him and his habits—Feng has squandered everything through gambling and now drinks and smokes excessively, things that Shine detests. The story revolves around whether this unlikely pair can bridge their differences through the game of billiards and recognize the familial love they share. Can they rediscover what makes them a family? Watch “Second Chance (2014)” online free right here and witness this poignant tale.
