Hampstead

In the tranquil Hampstead Village of London, American widow Emily Walters leads a serene and uneventful life until she encounters Donald Horner, a local recluse. For nearly two decades, Donald has inhabited a makeshift hut on the forest’s outskirts, living a life of rustic solitude. When Emily learns that developers are scheming to evict Donald from his beloved home, she takes it upon herself to defend him and his land. Though Donald is initially resistant to her assistance, Emily becomes inexplicably drawn to him, and he to her. What starts as an act of goodwill transforms into a poignant relationship, just as construction threatens to encroach on their newfound connection.
