Dolores

In the midst of 1950s societal expectations, Dolores Huerta breaks the mold by co-founding the first farm workers’ union in the United States alongside Cesar Chavez. Initially aimed at addressing racial and labor injustices, her journey expands into a battle for gender equality within her own movement, from which she is eventually expelled. Balancing the demands of motherhood, three marriages, and a brutal attack by the San Francisco tactical police, Dolores perseveres with a revolutionary vision intertwining feminism, racial, and class equality. “Dolores (2017)” is a must-watch here.
