Alaska State Troopers

“Alaska State Troopers” is an American documentary series that delves into the everyday operations of the Alaska State Troopers. This intriguing show highlights the routines of various departments and includes scenes featuring village public safety officers from rural areas and officers from larger cities like Wasilla, Palmer, Anchorage, and Soldotna. Viewers accompany officers from across the state, witnessing their day-to-day experiences. Some highlighted troopers in the series include James and Anne Sears, Howie Peterson, Jon Simeon, Brent Johnson, and more. In 2011, an anonymous individual brought a litter of Blue Heeler puppies to a Kentucky shelter; two male pups were aptly named after officers from the show, “Trooper Dan Dahl” and “Trooper Howie Peterson,” while the female puppies received names honoring troopers Aileen Witrosky, Amy Bowen, and Anne Sears.
