Green Lantern: The Animated Series

Green Lantern: The Animated Series is an American computer-generated TV show based on the iconic DC Comics superhero, Green Lantern. It originally premiered on Cartoon Network as part of their “DC Nation” segment, delighting fans from November 11, 2011, to March 16, 2013, with a fresh episode released weekly. Enthusiasts got a sneak peek on November 11, 2011, with an exclusive first episode spotlight at New York Comic Con on October 15, 2011. Marking a significant milestone, it is the inaugural Green Lantern series and the first CGI effort from DC/WB. Although the show was cut short after one season due to disappointing toy sales from the live-action film and a shift in Cartoon Network’s focus towards new shows in the “DC Nation” lineup, it still holds a special place among fans.
