Home and Away

“Set in the picturesque coastal town of Summer Bay, ‘Home and Away’ explores the intricate personal and professional lives of its residents. Initially, the narrative centered around the Fletcher family—Pippa, Tom, and their five foster children: Frank, Carly, Steven, Lynn, and Sally, who would go on to be one of the show’s longest-standing characters. The series also highlights the tales of the Stewart family both originally and in recent times. Entering the early 2000s, the spotlight shifted toward the Sutherland and Hunter families. This beloved series debuted in 1988 and quickly captivated Australian audiences with its compelling storylines, including the harrowing experience of Carly Morris’s assault, breaking new ground for its timeslot. Over the years, ‘Home and Away’ has fearlessly tackled mature and often controversial issues. Watch Home and Away (1988) streaming online.
