10 Promises to My Dog

Akari, a young girl who has just celebrated her twelfth birthday, encounters a adorable puppy when she’s grappling with her mother’s sudden illness. She instantly bonds with the puppy and names him “Socks” because of his white-pawed appearance. Initially, Akari and Socks are inseparable, sharing every moment together. But as Akari matures, her attention shifts away, resulting in a growing emotional and physical distance between them, especially when she relocates to a distant city, leaving Socks in the care of a childhood friend. Over time, Akari reflects on the ten promises she once made to Socks and her late mother, leading to heartwarming realizations. “10 Promises to My Dog (2008)” is available for streaming right now.
