12 Bucks

Meet Johnny and Tanner, siblings grappling with a turbulent upbringing due to a tyrannical father who left a scar on their family. The brothers’ lives take a tragic turn when their father’s brutality against their mother crosses a line. Tanner ends up incarcerated, while Johnny finds solace and stability in a foster home with a loving family. Fast forward a few years, and we find Johnny (played by Scott Waugh) excelling in college, while Tanner (portrayed by Sean Graham) struggles to steer away from his criminal past. Tanner reaches out to Johnny, requesting his support during a parole meeting in Hollywood. Without hesitation, Johnny agrees, only to realize they need to travel across the country to Hollywood, FL, rather than the Hollywood, CA they know. Bound by brotherly loyalty, they embark on this risky journey with only twelve dollars, relying on luck to carry them to the East Coast.
