A Cowgirl’s Story

Dusty Rhodes arrives at Jefferson High, where she stands out as a true cowgirl from Texas. With her parents serving in the U.S. Army—her mother as a helicopter pilot and her father as a Special Forces Army Ranger—Dusty initially feels like an outsider. However, she soon befriends a group including Savanah, whose father tragically died in Iraq three years prior. Despite their differences in style, a unique bond forms between Savanah, with her Goth flair, and the ever-optimistic Dusty. Determined to leave her mark, Dusty persuades the school to start an Equestrian Drill Team and convinces her new friends to saddle up and join. While she leads the team with spirit, Dusty navigates the challenges of her mother’s deployment in Afghanistan. A Cowgirl’s Story (2017) is available for streaming right here!
