A Kiss for Jed

Nineteen-year-old Orla from County Antrim wins the “Follow a Star” competition on Irish TV. Her prize sends her on an adventure to track down country and western star Jed Wood, give him a kiss, and share her journey on the next week’s show. Ray Timmons, an experienced documentary cameraman, is tasked with filming her adventure. Their journey takes them to New York, where they team up with Mike, a disenchanted sound recordist, to track down Jed by visiting movie sets and recording studios—essentially any place where Jed might appear. Their pursuit is also a story to tell for a couple of DJs at a local radio station. As their journey unfolds, Orla and Ray develop a deeper understanding of each other and rethink their life dreams before returning home. **Streaming now.** You can watch A Kiss for Jed (2011) online for free on platforms like cineby and 123Movies, making it easy to enjoy this engaging story.
