A Lion Returns

After spending 18 months abroad fighting in Syria, Jamal finds himself back in Australia, eager to reunite with his ailing mother before it’s too late. However, his return isn’t as simple as it seems, as he must confront not only his headstrong older brother, Omar, and his wife, Heidi, along with their young child he left behind, but also face his stern, unforgiving father. The real question lingers: has Jamal come back as a committed fighter for a cause, or is he just a pawn manipulated by larger powers? The narrative unfolds as a poignant tale of redemption and forgiveness, exploring the impact of one’s choices on family and loved ones left behind. “A Lion Returns (2018)” is available to stream online and can be watched here for free.
