A Man Called Jon

“A Man Called Jon” is a delightful blend of comedy and drama that follows Pastor Jon Terrell Carson, whose lively approach to worship stands out in a very traditional congregation not used to such exuberance during services. After an awkward incident involving his family, Senior Pastor Stannum contacts the Bishop to find a more fitting congregation for Jon’s effervescent style. This change leads Jon and his family to an African American Church, where Associate Pastor Dickens reveals that a mix-up in paperwork sent him to the wrong place. Jon is then reassigned to a third church, where he faces the challenge of blending in once more. Note the title! Will Jon adjust his celebratory ways, or is another move on the horizon?
