À perdre la raison

Brimming with vitality, Murielle (played by Emilie Dequenne from Rosetta) seems to have a bright future when she encounters Mounir (portrayed by Tahar Rahim, known for his role in A Prophet). Their romance quickly leads to marriage, and the duo eagerly starts planning for a family. Despite their joy, the bonds of family prove to be complex, especially the unbreakable one between Mounir and his adoptive father, Doctor Pinget (Niels Arestrup, from A Prophet and Sarah’s Key). As Murielle continues to grow the family, the tension between Mounir and Doctor Pinget escalates dangerously. Trapped in the lavish home provided by Doctor Pinget, Murielle finds herself ensnared in a suffocating family drama. Desperation sets in, and Murielle’s perception of reason starts fading, with escape seeming to be the only solution.
