Aileen Wuornos: American Boogeywoman

The film delves into the formative years of Aileen Wuornos, known as America’s most infamous female serial killer, who notoriously went on a murder spree in Florida during 1989 and 1990. A lesser-known chapter of her life occurred in 1976, when the young and attractive Aileen sought a fresh start in Florida. She married a prosperous Yacht Club President, seemingly poised to reinvent herself within the elite circles of Florida’s high society—though her story may not be straightforward.
