Allure

Haunted by traumatic past experiences and a series of unsuccessful romantic relationships, Laura longs for love and stability. Her glimmer of hope appears in the form of Eva, a talented sixteen-year-old pianist who feels trapped by her mother’s controlling ways. The two forge an unexpected connection, with Eva soon becoming Laura’s obsession. As Eva seeks relief from her dissatisfaction, Laura persuades her to escape to her home, leading them into a complex and intense bond. The relationship, tangled in manipulation, denial, and codependency, eventually reaches its breaking point. Allure (2018) is available to stream now.
