Attila Marcel

Paul, a gentle and childlike individual, has spent his life under the care—and often overwhelming control—of his two quirky aunts in Paris following the tragic loss of his parents when he was just a young child. Despite reaching the age of thirty-three, Paul has yet to utter a word. However, he communicates his unique personality through vividly colorful outfits that would give any Wes Anderson character a run for their money in terms of nerdy chic. Driven by their singular ambition, his aunts dream of Paul becoming a piano competition champion. Though he practices tirelessly, he feels a void until an intriguing intervention by his upstairs neighbor shifts his perspective. Madame Proust, aptly named after the famous novelist, provides Paul with a unique concoction that revives buried memories from his past and ignites the most enchanting of dreams.
