Audacity

Peter, played by Travis Owens, dreams of making it big as a comedian but is held back by his stage fright, despite the encouragement from his friend Ben, portrayed by Ben Price, known from Australia’s Got Talent. Yet, it’s not just the fear of performing that troubles him; when confronted with sensitive social issues, he grapples with the challenge of voicing his beliefs. Diana, his coworker played by Molly Ritter, pushes Peter to articulate his stance on homosexuality and gay marriage, forcing him to ponder if he can uphold his convictions without alienating those he cares about. As he stares down the barrel of a life-altering event, Peter is on a journey of courage and conviction. Audacity delves into these complex emotions to tackle today’s hot-button topics.
