Avenger

When Calvin Dexter’s daughter was tragically murdered in Panama in 1994, the former CIA agent reinvented himself as a private specialist, tackling cases overlooked by the traditional legal system. Shortly after, he is hired by wealthy businessman Stephen Edmonds to locate his missing son, Richard ‘Ricky’ Edmunds, who disappeared while working for a Canadian war victims charity in Bosnia. Dexter uncovers that Ricky was brutally killed by Zoran Zilic and his Serbian paramilitary group for merely aiding street boys from an opposing faction. Realizing that such war criminals evade the judicial system, Dexter offers Stephen the chance to mete out his own brand of justice. Meanwhile, Deputy CIA Director Paul Devereaux is more concerned with securing a nuclear arms deal with Zilic, prompting CIA troubleshooter Frank McBride to intervene and keep both Dexter and Zilic under surveillance.
