Baba Joon

Yitzhak manages the turkey farm that his father established by hand after migrating from Iran to Israel. When Moti, Yitzhak’s son, reaches the age of thirteen, Yitzhak introduces him to the family business in hopes of passing the proud legacy forward. However, Moti is drawn to a different passion—restoring old cars from the junkyard. Meanwhile, his mother Sarah tries to bridge the gap between father and son, as his grandfather urges Yitzhak to be more assertive with Moti. Yitzhak perceives Moti’s disinterest in farming as a personal affront and is determined to enforce the family tradition upon him. The conflict intensifies with the arrival of Darius, an uncle from America, whose presence threatens to disrupt familial peace. Yitzhak will soon realize that Moti’s resolve matches his own.
