Babes in Toyland

11-year-old Lisa is too preoccupied with looking after her siblings and preparing meals for her mom to spare a moment for toys. However, on Christmas Eve amid a fierce snowstorm, she embarks on a journey to Toyland in a magical, Wizard of Oz-like manner, arriving just in time to witness an impending wedding. Mary Contrary is about to wed the cruel, elderly Barnaby Barnacle, even though her heart belongs to Jack Be Nimble. Determined to prevent this unfortunate union, Lisa teams up with her newfound friends and reveals Barnaby’s sinister scheme to seize control of Toyland. Lisa, Mary, Jack, and Georgie Porgie seek assistance from the Toymaster, but he is powerless until Lisa learns to truly believe in toys. “Babes in Toyland (1986)” is available for streaming, with options to watch online for free.
