Backyard Ashes

Dougie Waters cherishes nothing more than enjoying a weekend barbeque and a game of cricket with his friends. However, his idyllic setting is shattered when his close friend and neighbor, Norm, is forced to move away, and his place is taken by their arrogant new boss, an Englishman named Edward Lords. Tensions between Dougie and Edward come to a head during a backyard cricket match, where Dougie accidentally hits a ball that knocks out Edward’s beloved cat, Dexter, sending it straight into the blazing BBQ, reducing the feline to ashes. Dougie’s son captures the event on video, and it quickly becomes a viral sensation on YouTube! The incident sparks the idea for a backyard cricket showdown, with the victor earning the right to keep the ashes of Edward’s dear cat, Dexter. What follows is an epic battle on the pitch for the coveted Backyard Ashes. Watch Backyard Ashes (2013) online.
