Bank Roll

In the contemporary setting of Burbank, California, and the neighboring San Fernando Valley, Benny Big-Time, also known as The BBT, grapples with the revelation that his brother has been detained on charges linked to recent bank heists. Determined to help his brother, The BBT decides to use his life savings to concoct a plan that could potentially save his brother from the legal system by complicating his own circumstances. Enlisting the help of his five close friends—Erik, Derek, Jamie, K.C., and Kyle—The BBT has just four days to create a diversion to mislead the authorities. Their idea is to stage an actual small bank robbery to cast doubt on his brother’s involvement in the previous crimes. By mimicking the details of his brother’s alleged crime and utilizing detailed photos of bank employees and their connections, The BBT hopes to generate sufficient doubt to exonerate his brother.
