Being 17

In the stunning high Pyrenees of southwestern France, Damien resides with his mother Marianne, a doctor, while his father serves abroad with the French military as a pilot. At school, Damien faces harassment from Thomas, who comes from a farming family in the mountains, and he gradually learns to defend himself. The dynamics shift dramatically when Marianne, in a gesture of kindness, invites Thomas to stay with them as his mother faces illness in the hospital. As a result, Damien is confronted with the challenge of cohabiting with his former tormentor. Being 17 (2016) is available to stream right here.
