Best Laid Plans

Directed by David Blair, this compelling British drama takes inspiration from John Steinbeck’s ‘Of Mice and Men’. Set in the heart of Nottingham, the story focuses on the bond between the rough-edged Danny, played by Stephen Graham, and the imposing yet intellectually challenged Joseph, portrayed by Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje. As Danny falls into debt with a local gangster, he resorts to using Joseph’s formidable strength in underground cage fights to make ends meet.
