Beyond the Limits

Aspiring journalist Vivian visits Frederick, the caretaker of an ancient cemetery in an unspecified nation, seeking an interview. Frederick recounts the tales of two clients intricately linked by a hidden secret. In the first tale, feared mob boss Jimmie Levinson accuses his ex-associate Paul Pattuchi of theft of cocaine and subsequently orders the murder of his cherished girlfriend, Clarice. After Paul’s body is discovered in a cottage, Robert Downing and later the sadistic duo Mortimer and Rick crash Jimmie’s dinner party seeking answers about Paul and a mysterious suitcase concealing an enigmatic relic. The second narrative shifts back to the Middle Ages, where the ruthless David Deming and his henchman Tom Brewster pursue the rebel priest, James Flynn, in the name of the Inquisition, aiming to extract the secret of the Eternal Heart for immortality.
