Blame it on Rio

Matthew Hollis is vacationing in Rio de Janeiro together with his closest friend. Both fathers have brought their teenage daughters along. Things take a turn when Matthew becomes romantically involved with his friend’s daughter, Jennifer, leading to a discreet, albeit lopsided, affair. When Jennifer’s dad discovers the identity of this ‘older man’ in her life, he becomes enraged and seeks to track him down, enlisting Matthew’s help for the chase. Blame it on Rio (1984) is captivating.
