Cathy, a six-year-old girl, finds herself relocated by a social worker to a foster home in a rural area, where she gradually adapts to the stringent regulations set by her foster mother, Réjeanne. Luckily, her foster father Reynald displays kindness and warmth, gently assisting her in overcoming her shyness. Meanwhile, twelve-year-old Kayla is placed in a group home, where she befriends Morgane, an adventurous teenager planning to escape. On her eighteenth birthday, Manu is discharged from the system, struggling to adjust to the solitary life outside of foster care. All these characters eventually reunite at a ceremony celebrating a foster family they each once stayed with. Catimini (2012) is available for you to watch right here.
